Literacy

Projects / Literacy

Literacy is the key to communication. Without communication we human beings will struggle to achieve great cooperation. Without cooperation we will struggle to achieve our vision; a better world - for everyone.

UNESCO defines literacy as the "ability to identify, understand, interpret, create, communicate and compute, using printed and written materials associated with varying contexts. Literacy involves a continuum of learning in enabling individuals to achieve their goals, to develop their knowledge and potential, and to participate fully in their community and wider society".

In cEvery1 we strive to educate all human beings to become literate and to understand, value and hence strive for the achievement of the human rights - for everyone.

The world is much divided because of the many languages used. In cEvery1 we strive for the world to communicate in one common language, English.
